During my practical training in Jen Hotel on 1 Nov 2019, I have learned a lot of new things. It was a great experience that I never had. As a housekeeper, they have to clean 20 rooms and above per day and each rooms only takes 15-20 minutes to clean it. The cleaning process includes change bed sheets, pillowcase, wipe all the tables and mirrors, clean bathrooms, refill all the supplies and vacuum the room. First of all, I have learned how to arrange all the supplies in the bathrooms, change pillow sheets, etc. My housekeeper named Mr.Kakon, he is a new housekeeper in Jen Hotel. Although he was a new housekeeper but can see him work very experienced, he changes all the bed sheets, blanket very smooth and quick. I try to help him so that the work will finish in a short time. He teach me how to arrange the supplies in the bathroom, change the pillowcase and the bed sheets. I felt very tired when I am changing the bed sheets and the blanket because it takes much energy. Before we leave the room, the housekeeper will vacuum the rooms and double-check the room to make sure that the room is clean and tidy.

As the lecturer said, housekeeping is 3D Jobs stand for Dangerous, Dirty and Difficult. After I went the practical training realized that the lecturer said is right. It is because a housekeeper needs to clean all the rubbish and all the dirty things that leaving by the guests. Difficult is because they need to clean a room in a short time, it takes much energy to change the bed sheets and blankets because the blanket is very heavy. Housekeeping is a difficult job, I very respect every housekeeper because they didn’t felt tired to doing this job. Last but not least, I very thanks to my lecturer Mr.Ravi give us the opportunity to go practical training in Jen Hotel. I will not forget this experience in my life.
